L-Acoustics Kara Line Array

L-Acoustics Kara is a small format line array system, part of the infamous K Series that also features KIVA, K3, K2 and K1. Extremely rider-friendly and scalable, clients; engineers and artists all love the clarity and flawless coverage. It’s exceptional SPL per meter lends itself well to applications where trim height & sight lines may be challenging whilst still retaining excellent coverage & efficiency in such a small cabinet.

It’s built with 2×8″ neodymium LF speakers in a tuned bass-reflex enclosure utilising a 3″ neodymium diaphragm driver coupled to a DOSC waveguide for the HF section.

At only 26kg per cabinet and benefitting from captive rigging bars and pins, Kara is straight forward and quick to rig. In order to fly or stack we can supply you the required L-Acoustics rigging kit consisting of M-Bumps & Bars.

6 cabinets can be driven in total per LA12X (3 per pair of channels), making the system very amplifier-efficient. Alternatively an LA4X can drive 4 cabinets (2 per pair of channels) both of which are in stock.

SB18 is the matching sub for Kara for applications that require low frequency extension. The SB18 can be flown as part of the array, separately or as part of a ground stack configuration.

Our Kara is supplied in a 3-way flightcase.
