The CREATIVE
A STUDIO BUILT FROM SCRATCH
We created a broadcast-ready in-the-round studio environment designed to feel natural and engaging for live delegates while delivering television-quality coverage for the stream and recording.
The Execution
ENGINEERED FOR BROADCAST
We aligned staging, lighting, audio and camera positions early so delivery remained controlled across both the room and the broadcast output.
- 01 A Truss Box Studio: Built to Broadcast Standards
Over two days (build and rehearsal, then show day), we constructed a bespoke truss box studio (8m wide x 10m deep x 4.5m high), dressed for clean, camera-friendly lines and framed with printed scenic backdrops.
Rigging was adapted to venue floor load restrictions using floor-based genie lifts for all overhead rigging.
At the centre, we designed and fabricated a custom large circular round table to support the in-the-round format and balanced coverage.
- 02 Eight Cameras, Eleven RF Channels: Zero Compromises
We delivered an eight-camera package and eleven RF microphone channels (Sennheiser EW300 G4), supported by L-Acoustics X8 and 5XT loudspeakers and a Yamaha QL5 desk for clean room and broadcast mixes.
- 03 Live Broadcast Direction and On-Demand Delivery
We directed between eight camera feeds in real time to produce a live multi-camera cut, with lighting and content screens positioned to serve both camera angles and delegate sightlines.
The DETAIL
- Full AV, lighting, camera and broadcast delivery
- In-the-round format with a bespoke round table designed and fabricated by us
- Live stream, recording, and on-demand delivery

THE OUTCOME
TELEVISION QUALITY. LIVE EVENT ENERGY.
Delivery ran without technical interruption from rehearsal through to the live stream. The discussion translated cleanly on camera while staying natural in the room, and the content was published on demand via The Open University’s digital platform.
