The brief
For Innovate 2023, Smart Comms hosted a smaller, yet impactful conference at the iconic Shard in London.
While this event may have been smaller and more intimate in scale, it still demanded a sophisticated AV setup to accommodate the unique venue and pay homage to the brand.
We also wanted to exceed the client’s expectations in showcasing a visually engaging experience that made sure their content and message had a great impact.
with a very tight install, the project had to be designed around simplicity, impact and margin for safety to ensure it is loaded in, setup & rehearsal ready in 2 hours.
The details
By using high-end, high quality equipment, we provided a seamless and immersive AV experience for Smart Comms, making sure their message and brand shone brightly against the impressive backdrop of London and The Shard.
The products and tech used were:
A fully branded set backdrop for the event
A balanced sound system designed for clear audio coverage throughout the venue
A compact 5m x 2m stage tailored for a smaller-scale event, for maximum impact in a more intimate space
A 98” mounted screen as the focal point for displaying content, and to ensure high visibility from all angles.
Carefully placed to enhance the ambiance without overwhelming the space.
The client also wanted to capture client testimonials while they had customers together, so we setup a seperate interviews room to capture interviews, content then provide footage in a quick turn around after the event.
